Among the crew members are six paying customers although the cost of the flight per person is never disclosed by Blue Origin. But reports suggest that the flight could be free for some while others may have to shell out $28 million.
The passengers of the NS-28 crew includes entrepreneurs Marc and Sharon Hagle, who will be flying for the second time on the New Shepard spacecraft after their 2022 flight. Also taking the seats are Austin Litteral from the financial services industry, entrepreneur JD Russel, aviator Hank Wolfond and MIT engineer Emily Calandrelli. These passengers will cross the Karman Line, 100 km above surface, experience a few minutes of weightlessness and descend back to Earth. Blue Origin has launched 43 humans to space in nine human flights so far.
